 Last week the three of us gathered with a small group from the Stillness Family to feel John Gorka sing. Here is our happy group with John (the one with the beard).

John is delightfully entertaining - funny and engaging with a deep resonant voice and song-poetry that speaks eloquently of the human experience. Best of all, he is primarily kinesthetic, meaning he communicates his song through his body. His words and vibrations produced a range of sensations in us that left us satisfied -- and wanting more.
In talking with John after the performance we discovered that he is VERY curious by nature. We had a fun time sharing our mutual focus on vibration and frequency. He seemed to completely understand our model of frequency as the source of experience and stillness as the window to creativity.
John has been playing with frequency, he reported, to increase the ease with which his voice instrument produces full and resonant sound. We have also noticed the increased resonance and timbre of our voices as we shift our frequency, letting go of tension in our bodies and minds.
