Reflecting upon my 45th high school re-union with my wife, on our return flight home from Florida, I noticed a full range of feelings stirring -- gratitude, fulfillment, loss, sadness, anger. You see, these were my closest friends, from back when we were kids -- open, bright, and full of promise. I had missed them dearly.
Seeing these precious friends again for the first time since childhood confirmed what I have come to witness of the human journey - that, following the cultural and biological model that we have unwittingly adopted, we contract year after year from the happy possibility that we are as young children. It is often labeled "aging" but the contraction is not as inevitable as the passing of years.
At my high school reunion, as the contracting of the "kids" was apparent to everyone, my wife and I received many compliments on how young and healthy we looked. Something was different....
 In case you think I'm exaggerating ... the picture here is my latest picture. Well, ok, it was taken a few years ago, but it is my model for where I'm heading.
So I ask you - "have you ever wanted to go back in time? Ever wanted to be able to do it all over again ... a rewind and replay - seeking to find some greater meaning - some wonderful new way?" We too have wondered about this - and have sought to find the way to go back and experience the vitality and possibility of youth all over again!
My wife and I each started from pretty tough place of contraction. She even had cancer. The process we discovered for clearing it - all naturally - led us to the secrets of the great reunion with the child-like mind and body that we had lost. Our Technology of Stillness incorporates these secrets into a set of processes and tools that work. And the overall approach is to create the level of energetic flow that children experience in their bodies and in their minds.
What's THE SECRET to generating that flow?? Well, there are many pieces, but the one that often gets missed - except in our in-person retreats - is the Vibrational Release Technique. Vibrational Release has two parts that are combined to create an amazingly predictable state of flow:
Strong mechanical vibration clears all the physical traumas from the body, year by year, all the way back to birth. A special form of deep breathing and holding, that super oxygenates the brain, clears all the emotional traumas, year by year, all the way back to birth.
If you are not using these two parts together - vibration and breathing - in your practice, then I encourage you to do so. There is an explanation of the Vibrational Release Technique in our Discover Stillness home course and even a DVD demonstrating the first stage of this technique.
Vibrational Release Technique is one of the effective processes and tools that we have discovered and created over twenty years of exploration. These techniques have allowed us to find our path back to our authentic natures, and also to leave bread crumbs for others to follow.
Following these bread crumbs will lead you to clear your physical and emotional traumas back, year by year. As you proceed down the path to a reunion with your Self, you will move from pathology to agenda, the current way of the adult world. Then, retracing the steps that we visited on our way to adulthood you will experience witnessing, and then connection, discovery and allowing.
Finally, you will find the level of flow that you were born in, a level we call EXPANDING. And it is in this state of flow that you will become like your SELF -- a little child again. This is a process of being re-born, returning to the innocence and possibility of a little child, where the gates of Heaven open within-inside you!
My wife and I have explored this path of reunion for most of 20 years. It has certainly not always been easy. There have been tears and curse words, lows and disappointments. But the quality of life we've created is astonishing and the level of stress we experience negligible.
