Wow! I just realized that it has been over a week since I posted a blog. A lot has happened since I returned to Houston a week ago llast Wednesday. I’ve started writing a couple of blog posts about lessons I’ve learned, but stopped in process because the lessons are still unfolding and my ability to describe them continue to evolve. As soon as I’m clear, I will definitely share with you.

It dawned on me that maybe some of you would be interested in an update in what’s happening. I’m at Robert and Cynthia’s, just outside Huntsville. And I have invitations to come live with others. The generosity I am being offered is heart-warming and life changing.

I’ve spent the week hiring and training caretakers (actually Robert & Cynthia have done most of that), meeting with my family, hosting visitors, arranging for organics and generally settling in.

My schedule will be specific and routine for the next few months. 13 fresh juices, 5 coffee enemas, 3 special meals with a special soup and a partridge in a pear tree (just checking to see if you are reading.). Hippocrates (you know the “first” doctor, the one of the Hippocratic Oath fame) said, “Let your food be your medicine, your medicine be your food.” That’s what I’m doing.

As a reminder, I have advanced pancreatic cancer metastasized to the liver. In the conventional medicine world, I am a dead man. The only questions are how long and how painful. My kids, along with my Mom, appear to believe this prognosis. My siblings are in hope otherwise.

Subject to being declared as in denial or full of crap, I believe totally in my full recovery. I don’t expect it to be easy, but I do expect it to be simple. Anyone who studies healing cancer, what really works and doesn’t, with curiosity and into enough depth likely would come to the same conclusion.

I know many of you trust in my recovery and are praying with all your hearts in your own way for it to be so. You are making a difference beyond what you know. I am eternally grateful!

All I can say is I’m feeling better, almost by the day. My energy is increasing, my appetite continues to improve, my digestive system is more efficient (you don’t want to know the details) and my weight has stabilized.

Healing opportunities abound. I’m confronting and healing broken relationships, broken dreams and broken hearts. Many people close to me are jumping on the healing “band wagon.” Some are more reluctant. Some are just plain ole’ avoiding. My desire is that my journey helps catalyze any healing that may be up for you.

The outpouring of love from everyone has been the greatest healing tonic of all. The Gerson Therapy is great, but love trumps everything.

I do intend to begin posting more frequently and share with you the good, the bad and the ugly.

Until then, that’s it for now.

Sending love your way, Michael
